About GRTF
Grand Rapids Trans Foundation nurtures and sustains Trans futures by creating equitable opportunities, removing barriers, and fostering community in West Michigan.
Founded in December 2015, GRTF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps Trans people in West Michigan thrive through scholarships, direct support, and community.
How We're Raising Money
Throughout the weekend, our charity events and panels raise money for Grand Rapids Trans Foundation. Every dollar raised at them goes directly to GRTF.
Where Your Donation Goes
Donations fund free programs for the Trans community in Kent County and across West Michigan.
Trans Academic Scholarships
Up to $2,500 toward education-related expenses for Trans and nonbinary students pursuing a degree or certificate in Kent County.

Gender Junk Closet
Free, brand-new gender-affirming items like binders, packers, and wigs, restocked every month.
TRANSportation
Unlimited monthly bus passes on The Rapid, rides to appointments, and bicycles with safety gear.
T Time Social Meetup
Monthly gatherings to make friends, build community, and find joyful connection in safe spaces.
