Volunteer at MAW
MAW does not happen without the dedicated hard work of our volunteers and staff members. Every person, from our volunteers and gophers all the way up to the con chair helps play a part in making the convention happen. Volunteering is a great experience that allows you to be an integral part of making MAW be the best convention it can be. No matter the role, our volunteers help make it all possible.

How to Get Started
Be sure to stop by Con Ops and pick up a volunteer hour tracking sheet (and write your badge name and Telegram handle on the form!) and one of our volunteer vests.
After you are done with your shift, be sure that a staff member from the department you volunteered with signs your sheet! It is your responsibility to submit your hours in the area you are volunteering for so that your hours can be credited. Hours earned do not carry over to the next convention year.

You will be given a timesheet when you sign up, and as you work, we will ask you to keep track of your hours and return the timesheet to Con Ops or volunteer staff by Monday morning. The more you help us out, the more rewards you’ll get:
